Small Groups
Overview
The small-groups ministry will facilitate the type of gatherings that permeated the apostles’ era, it was not through the synagogues and temple alone that they met, see Matthew 18:20, Acts 2:46, Acts 5:42. With these small-groups, we seek to establish haverim which means “friends” in the Hebrew tongue. While our topics and way of interaction may vary, we do endeavour to recreate similar Godly connections with the ability to draw each other closer to YHWH via scripture and our individual experiences.Facilitation
We facilitate the meetings of small-groups by:
- Providing tools and guidelines to assist with planning and security.
- Training group facilitators to share and equip cells on community determined topics, as well as in basic apologetics.
- Networking with groups having similar interests within our community
- Facilitating sharing with wider community
Cross Connect
In aid of bringing about the purposes for which the body of Christ are jointly focused and to aid in requests of specific connected ministries or individuals, we utilize small groups to facilitate the purposes established through Cross Connect, these areas include:
- Evangelism
- Prayer Requests
- Material Support
- Assistance with:
- Finances
- Food
- Clothing
- Shelter
